Todd is correct because I

Todd is correct because I would be overjoyed if Todd's soup wasn't home made:"Hey, I can make this delicious soup myself!". Seeing a recipe made on Food Network does not affect how tastey it is.

You could make me a glass of

You could make me a glass of butter, fresh basil, and wine any day - add it to soup? Bonus.

Here is the deal:  I know it

Here is the deal:  I know it sounds like a pussy answer, but both are right: Todd is right because you SHOULD tell the listeners how to make this easy yet delicious soup, but Jimmy is right because you SHOULD NOT tell the person you are serving it to, while they are eating it, that it is some half-ass "recipe". See the difference? As usual, they were kinda in different head spaces, and really weren't disagreeing with each other because they were each thinking of different circumstances.

I agree with Todd. I wouldn't

I agree with Todd. I wouldn't care how the person made the soup, as long as it tastes good. I would actually be happy to find out it was that easy to make because then I can make it at home and have more tasty soup!

However, when it comes to meat, I would not want to hear how an animal was shot, skinned, and its innerds taken out while I was eating. If Todd told me how the recipe went, "I took the veal and added parsley..." that would be ok, but everything up to that point grosses me out.

I want another option. "Are they really arguing and making Stef cry over SOUP!?" Most hilarious argument ever. And currently it's 72% and 28%. How will Jimmy recover from this?

Yeah, Todd owns this one

Yeah, Todd owns this one totally. Telling that the recipe is pretty simple is a way of being humble. Todd also totally nailed that Jimmy was using the kind of arguing he hates: exaggerating the opponent's viewpoint. Way to go Todd. Next time I'm in LA, I want your soup.

And--one final laugh because

And--one final laugh because Todd even nailed the 70/30 split.

Jimmy owes Todd dinner.

Maybe they can make each

Maybe they can make each other soup. :)

Despite Jimmy's attempts to

Despite Jimmy's attempts to confuse, obfuscate, and bully his way through the conversation Todd was clearly in the right. Not only was Todd right but he was able to make his point without resorting to false equivalencies or belittling chuckles while Jimmy was trying to make a point.

This is a vote for Todd and for Truth.

I don't think I've ever heard

I don't think I've ever heard Jimmy and Todd so at each other's throats. Sure, it's an argument about soup, but what if this is the start of a rift that tears their friendship apart?! Oh man, and episode 60 is next. That's when Mike left Never Not Funny! I didn't see that one coming, not by a long shot. Enjoy it while you can, everybody. This thing'll be a pay format by episode 100. =P

It's definitely been

It's definitely been interesting so far. The ratio of votes has remained the same the whole almost-week this poll has been up.

Well, I feel like a bit of a

Well, I feel like a bit of a dick for predicting the Never Not Funny reflection now.

I think with any podcast it

I think with any podcast it would become inevitable, whether it's some months or years, at some point someone is bound to move on.

Or you're an evil psychic wizard.
