Thankfully Chipotle is no longer owned by McDonalds.

Excellent 'cast. Proops was

Excellent 'cast. Proops was such a fantastic guest I went back and listened to it again immediately after finishing listening the first time and then listened again a few days later. This one is going in the save pile.

Thanks!

Really enjoyed the breakfast

Really enjoyed the breakfast reviews. If you want to do a Breakfast Club podcast I'll sign up right away.

I'm a Canadian but I really do feel for Obama. America wants to live a certain way with luxuries that someone's going to have to pay for and they don't want it to be them. I don't think Obama is a liar or apathetic to what's happening or what he promised but look at the system he has to work in. The opposition votes no on everything. Everything. That's a broken system. That's not the people being represented that's just game playing.

From the inside it may feel like nothing's changed but to the world Obama is night and day from Bush. And as this Maddow clip shows, Obama really has been doing more than any politician to fix things since your Grandpa starting liking girls (or boys, I don't know how your Gramps swings)

Keep holding politicians' feet to the fire but don't think nothing is being done. It's just not true. Important progress is being made but like most things that are important they don't happen fast enough to notice right away.

Wow, loved this episode. I

Wow, loved this episode. I never would have thought the 'nerdy guy' from "Who's Line..." would have been so brillant and funny...and brilliantly funny. He replaces Paul Thompkins as best guest ever IMO.

The breakfast talk made me

The breakfast talk made me get out of bed at 3 in the morning (Eastern Standard Time) and make Bacon, Eggs, and toast. But breakfast is good any time of the day.  If you ever make you way to Philadelphia, you need to check out our slew of restaurants. Everyone outside of Philly thinks its all cheesesteaks and soft pretzels, but the city has a bunch of amazing and expensive restaurants. Check out Village Whiskey and Amada if you ever make you way to Philadelphia.

Love the show.

I've only just started this

I've only just started this weeks episode, but I felt I needed to weigh in on something you guys hit on right off the bat. I'm one of those guys who gets a little dissapointed when you throw up your KPFK show. It's not that I don't like the show, but I don't like them at the same times. I like the free-flowing feel of the podcast, as opposed to the more scripted feel of the KPFK show. I'll listen to CaEE along with a WTF, whereas the KPFK show fits in with something like a David Feldman Comedy Podcast.

HOWEVER! I have stumbled upon a secret that seems to be lost on some of your more whiney listeners. If I don't feel like listening to your KPFK show... I don't! I just skip it, and go on to something else! Maybe I put on another podcast, of maybe some music! Perhaps I even spend some time without a constant stream of entertainment! It's madness. But I didn't realize that this was such a huge issue for some people. I don't know if I have maybe an experimental version of the software, but in my iTunes, right beside the pause button, there's a "skip" button, that will breeze right over the show. I'd be more than happy to send over the install file if any of your listeners have this missing.

And if the problem is not a technical problem, then I guess the only explaination would be that these people simply CANNOT wait more than one week for the show, and to them I say... Comedy and Everything Else is great. It's hilarious, and always has fantastic guests. It offers a peek into the backstage life of comedians that us Joe Blows aren't normally privy to. But if your life is such that going one week without the show makes a visible impact on your life and well being, well then... check your directory for therapist listings. You've got some real reflecting to do.

Loved! Loved! Loved! This

Loved! Loved! Loved! This episode.  Greg just totally has it going on and kept S&J in their toes.  This is the first one I've ever felt compelled to get other folks to listen to....am forwarding it to everyone cool I know tonight.

if there's one comedian i

if there's one comedian i want to keep putting out cd's regularly, it's greg proops. he's good like that. "proops digs in," is hysterical all the way through. but that's just with one listen through. i've noticed his jokes sometimes need to marinate over multiple listens before they fully hit me.

big thanks to stef and jimmy for recognizing the quality of his history riff and letting it ride for so long. greg brought a sobering view to pretty much every subject you tossed his way. it really made for an excellent interview and please have him on as often as possible. (same with todd, but for different conversational reasons. ahhh!)
