WOW! What a great and

WOW! What a great and informative show....this is just what my life needed. I wouldn't mind if they stop all the political jibba jabba, and focus more on LIFE. I don't know...I LOVE IT!

I listen to C&EE in part

I listen to C&EE in part because you actually DO say things about the political process and situations that I wish more people were saying publicly.  The news depresses me most when it seems the Sarah Palin-esque- intellectually- impaired people are controlling the conversation and intend to scream loudly (or bring guns to town hall meetings) to ensure they get their way.

I think the meditation-as-a-success-builder idea was very funny:  funny ha ha and funny strange.    Seemed in a similar vein as "The Secret".    But I agree that when you are feeling like you just can't take any more,  and you can't even sleep or cope with the stuff of life, it's good to have something that can give you some relief.   Meditation is surely effective and not as potentially destructive as the drugs or alcohol many of us use.

I heard someone on KPFK talking about the key political issue for the upcoming elections:   it will only be about the economy and jobs.  The interviewer asked "what about the wars?", and the expert said that many people are single issue voters and they will only care about the economy.   I say that the wars ARE a huge part of what's wrong with the economy:  wasting money and human lives.
