About the health insurance
About the health insurance bill. I am for a complete overhaul of the current system, but some people say that, without a truly robust public option, all this current bill does is further line the pockets of private health insurers. Although people with preexisting conditions will be guaranteed coverage, everyone will be forced to purchase insurance, regardless of the cost. People like Natasha and Duncan, who currently do not have health insurance, could be forced to pay for an overpriced plan, and the public option, because it does not have large numbers of people enrolled, will not have the bargaining power it needs.
Other people say that these details can be tinkered with later but the important thing is to get the bill passed and that it is an improvement over what we have now.
I'm pretty confused but maybe you can discuss this further on another podcast.

Hell Yeah! Natasha Leggero! I
Hell Yeah! Natasha Leggero! I was excited to hear. She's a classy lady and one of my favourites!
I really truly do love you
I really truly do love you guys and love the podcast. I've been listening since episode 1. But I have to tell you something: I will *never* donate money to this show until you *stop eating during the show*!!! Jimmy, for somebody who is so (rightly) concerned with professionalism in the realm of comedy clubs, it amazes me that you can do something so unprofessional (and just *gross*) during your own podcast.
It's your show and you have the right to do it however you want. Frankly, I'll keep listening no matter what because I am truly a fan. But I just had to point out this annoyance that you guys seem aware of, but nonetheless continue to commit.
Marty, You are not alone in
Marty,
You are not alone in your response to Jiimmy's chewing. I also LOVE the show and consider myself a dedicated fan, but the chewing truly irriates... Jimmy, if you smoke a bit and have the munchies while taping, perhaps you could step away from the mic for a second in order to fulfill the food need? Other than that, you rock!!!!
All anyone talks about on
All anyone talks about on this site is Jimmy eating! Two solid hours with a couple extremely interesting guests and people talk about the 60 seconds containing popcorn.
Not that I'm complaining about the complaining- it just seems a little funny. :)

I don’t get why the eating
I don’t get why the eating bothers people so much. I guess these people eat by themselves otherwise they would have had to talk to someone while they were eating at some point in their lives. Why is this ok but eating on the show it's not? I actually like it when they do stuff like that or when they have to run into the kitchen for cooking purposes it makes me feel like I am at their house just listening to them talk.
Good point about the eating.
Good point about the eating. How depressing it would be to just a) always eat alone or b) eat with others, but in absolute silence.
There was a Kitchen Sounds Pro effects rack recently installed in the Million Dollar Studio (that's just its name, it actually cost two million dollars). I'm glad the carefully crafted illusion of the show being recorded at home has been effective!

This is how I feel too.
Picture eating with someone
Picture eating with someone but they're eating right next to your ear. Like an inch away from it while talking to you. That's the experience when you've got earbuds in.
When's Todd coming back?
When's Todd coming back?
I'm still waiting on any
I'm still waiting on any official word. I have no information at all, but when I find out, it'll be here.

Some actual information about
Some actual information about that cheerleader. In short, nothing to do with any vaccine.

Jimmy briefly made the argument that the flu isn't so bad compared to possible vaccine troubles. The reason for vaccine programs isn't quite so selfish. Herd immunity protects others.

Aside from all that, awesome to hear Natasha Leggero on a podcast. I really enjoyed her in DC mocking those British children. Somehow I didn't have any idea who Duncan Tressell was until you mentioned his kidnapped video. My mind is now blown that these two are together.
Wow, I never thought that
Wow, I never thought that CaEE would ever cross paths with the Skeptics Guide the Universe, but it feels like Aaron's building that bridge.
I would love to see a crossover.
The SGU rogues teach Jimmy, Steph (and Todd?) about logical fallacies ( Jimmy could really tear into people with those tools in his belt)
Jimmy and the Gang can teach the SGU guys how to crack a joke. Seriously. They need help there.
I'll stop before this becomes full-fedged podcast fan fiction.
