Has Todd left the show?  I
Has Todd left the show? I noticed that Jimmy doesn't mention him at all. An update would be nice. I know he was touring with Cross, but that ended 2 weeks ago.
Agee is always a riot!!
thanks
I'm with you. Please tell us
I'm with you. Please tell us where Todd is!
I've decided that I will
I've decided that I will donate to the show when I hear 10 shows in a row where there is NO FUCKING EATING! Its the worst fucking audio etiquette in the world! From the fucking age 2 your mother tells you to chew with your mouth closed now at 40 something you decide that we as a general public will enjoy hearing your masticate in our ears...its rape...its rape of my ear drum Jimmy and Steph...No one likes rape, please stop it! I love your show otherwise, I think you put on a great show, and I actually do kinda turn to you for opinions on news and events that i will agree with and stand behind! Its a fun show, so please...stop chewing...I have stopped listening to three shows with in 20 minutes because you were chewing the entire time and its just disgusting! those are three shows, I am probably missing out on! and I hate that!
umm... I probably should have
umm... I probably should have given that a quick once over before I hit save so hastily. Sorry about all the grammar and spelling. But I don't retract the point that its really annoying to hear you eat!
It's a rock-solid point. I
It's a rock-solid point. I thought it was just a bothersome sound, I now agree with you that it's tantamount to forced sexual penetration of the ear canal. I'm thinking about pressing charges, frankly.
Chewing sounds are worse than genocide. Jimmy is basically committing war crimes on food. He's worse than Hitler. These are all great examples of hyperbole.
I don't want you to think that Jimmy is actually eating for two solid hours, though (wouldn't that be nuts!?)- in most cases if you fast-forward about one minute, that should still leave you with roughly a whole hour and 39 minutes of show that is food-free.

Update: Whoa! Sorry, I didn't take into account that you were probably joking. Assuming your comments above were heartfelt, then my comments above stand. Totally rape. But if you were kidding, you really got me good.
Another great show. Â I for
Another great show. I for one barely notice the munching.
I do think you all should be wary of antidepressants, but then I don't trust drug companies. Also, another friend of mine told me her therapist fell asleep on her. What is up with that?
I'm still working my way through the archives and listened to the Norm Macdonald episode recently. Hilarious. I saw his appearance on the View; he wasn't exaggerating about that.
I love your show, long time
I love your show, long time listener...and here's the BUT. But it bothers me when the show gets into politics and mostly becomes making fun of the Hannitys and Leibermans in the world. I loved the Jen Kirkman episode when she talked about the flaws on the Democrats side particularly President Obama and Nancy Pelosi. And not only did she discuss these problems but you all seemed to agree with her. I don't think it's common knowledge that President Obama and Nancy Pelosi are hurting the country. The recently passed health care bill is proof of this.
It was covered in the LA Times. Here's the link:
http://www.latimes.com/features/health/la-na-pelosi9-2009nov09,0,3266717,full.story
I counted three compromises they made:
1. abortion (!)
2. the public option
3. increasing taxes on the rich
And after the bill was passed in the House, President Obama declared victory. Victory for who? Unbelieveable. Maybe Joe Leiberman is the right thing by filabustering this sell out bill.
Then, there's President Obama's obsession with being macho. He wants to send more troops into Afghanistan; he recently increased the Pentagon's budget by 4% compared to last year under the Bush Administration; and the year is almost out....and GITMO remains open for business. Just one of the many things that bother me about President Obama and the other left wing lily livered lefty Democrats.
Anyways, all that said. Again, to reiterate I love your show. You always have the best comedians on including yourselves (Jimmy, Stef, Todd, and Matt). As always I look forward to the next show, have a week.
What are you talking about
What are you talking about Jimmy talks about the problems with the Democrats all the time. He has said on many occasions that Obama isn't getting anything done. Jimmy has also talked about how we need a progressive party. This is definitely a case of selective hearing.
P.S. What I would like them to address is where is Todd? If Tom g. is right and his tour ended 2 weeks ago why hasn't he been on. I like to use the way Jimmy and Stef explain things to Todd to help me explain things to my friends without getting mad at them for not following things on their own.
Where's Todd??? I mean, he's
Where's Todd??? I mean, he's not there for over a month, and there's nary a mention of it? It's just too weird. The last several shows have been enjoyable, but it's like a whole different podcast without Todd there and the unique interaction between The 3. Something must be going on. How could this not be mentioned at all? Like, "Todd is on tour with so-and-so, he'll be back after Thanksgiving." Something, just a mention of it. But to have him gone for this long without saying anything feels awkward, as if Jimmy and Steph had to agree not to say anything. And it's kind of insulting to us listeners, if you ask me. Oh, you didn't ask me? Okay, fine. But don't expect any donations until we have some kind of explanation.
I really like this show,
I really like this show, Steve really killed as always. Im very grateful to Jimmy for putting out all this content consistently every week. This is my favorite podcast and I have sampled quite a few other "comedy" podcasts (lots of douchity out there) your show is unique because you guys are so candid and funny at the same time, you have the best stories and I agree with your social and political views. Love the comedy and love the everything else.
I would really appreciate it if you guys could resolve whatever differences you have with Todd and get him back on the show, I dont believe that he is just absent cause he is on tour, you guys dont even plug his act or mention him, he cant even record a phone message from the road?. Its getting obvious that there are problems there (REALLY HOPE IM WRONG). Bury the beef guys, life is too short, and I know, I know, I shouldnt complain cause the podcast is free. Whatever. You three have a good thing going, dont break it up now. TODD GLASS COME BACK!!!!!
Jimmy and Steve,
Jimmy and Steve, I'm delighted to hear that you enjoyed my transplant city of the DC. I saw you both at least twice and loved it all. I went with my dad to every show that two weekend pass-holders could possibly absorb, and Jimmy, you were one of our top priorities (downstairs at Black Cat was awesome). Come back to DC asap. I'll take you out for Chinese.
