"F" Small Thinking

I've been putting things off .  And lets be honest there isn't enough time in the day for me to be all that I can be. Maybe you can relate to this?  Maybe not.  I like to think I'm an organized person.   But lately I keep feeling overwhelmed by the minutia of life.  I feel unorganized and every drawer in my home is a testament to that.   I've had to talk myself down off the ledge - figuratively - avoiding imploding.   Everyday, I come home, there's more mail, more emails, more voicemails, more fbs, more laundry, more clothes to be folded, more food to buy, more food to make, more dishes to wash, more Tiger women, more bills to pay, more paperwork to file, more trash to take out, more news to read, more wars to fight, more vacuuming, yikes, more dusting, more deadlines, more health care debate with no more public option, more more, some more, more of the same and sigh.  Egads all that stuff gets in the way of the stuff I really wish to do.

"F" it.  I'm going to blog.  I hereby am making a commitment to do the stuff I really want to do.

2010 I'm letting you know I will no longer allow the daily grind of life to get in my way.  Of course I can attain my goals, my dreams!  I just need to make a list.  I'm a firm believer in lists.  Lists give me a game plan.  The only obstacle that is in my way are the obstacles of small thinking.  "F" small thinking.  Small thinking gets in the way of doing the things I most want to do.  Begin list:

1.  Think Big

2.  DREAM BIGGER

Voila! Watch out 2010.

I can relate to your feelings

I can relate to your feelings of minutia overwhelming....  My personal plan for 2010 is to limit my housekeeping / laundry / bill paying chores to one day per week (Saturday or Sunday).  That will make me feel free to do what I REALLY want and need to do with the rest of my "at home" time.

You are "Better than the

You are "Better than the rest" Big Jake!  I like the concept of doing what we can do to make the world a better place.  That takes work but since we've got this one life why not make the best of it?  Bubba is staring at me - which means- take Bubba for a walk and YES I will make the world a better place and pick up his "business" if you know what I mean?  Nudge, nudge, wink, wink...say no more.
